THE STORY:

About 70% of Kenyan coffee is produced by small-scale holders. It was estimated in 2012 that there were about 150,000 coffee farmers in Kenya.

T.his stunning crop of beans come from Fram Farm, which is owned and managed by the Kariruki family. James Kariruki got his start in coffee through a small plot he inherited from his grandfather. Now at 40, James has expanded their farm to nearly 30 hectares (74 acres).

We lightly roast these beans to highlight a complex dessert-type coffee with intense fruity flavors and hints of spice. Try this unique coffee as a pour over brew and you won’t be disappointed.
